Annual Events

A variety of events are organized by the B.Tech Students annually. The most prominent of these include SELECT (Seminar on Chemical and Electrochemical Technology),a national level conference hosted by the students in collaboration with the Electrochemical Technologies Association (ETA), and a grand cultural festival “INTERFACE”, with the assistance of Kultural and Linguistic Association (KALA). The B.Tech Orientation, Hostel day and Farewell day are the other events conducted by the students. In addition to these, an Inter-college sports meet “ARMAGEDDON” is organized annually.

 

Arts & Exhibitions

Due importance is being given to visual learning by encouraging the regular exhibitions that models and artwork prepared by students. A special section is allotted for the B.Tech students during CECRI’s annual “Open Day”, in which  various models prepared by the students are exhibited.

 

 

Athletics & Fitness

Not withstanding hectic academic and project schedules, the students take an active part in sports activities, winning various sporting events right from the zonal level to the inter-university and state level. The campus is provided with a well equipped gymnasium, floodlit basketball court and an indoor badminton stadium, in addition to a ground football, cricket, and athletics. An Inter-college sports meet “ARMAGEDDON” is organized by the students annually.

 

Health & Well-Being

CECRI’s health centre is at a walk able distance from the hostels, and offers free round-the-clock medical care to the students. The health centre is equipped with modern medical facilities, and houses experienced doctors.

 

 

 

Housing & Dining

Well-furnished housing facilities are provided to the students, with separate hostels for boys and girls at a nominal fee. Guest house facility has also been made available for the visitors. Hygienic and palatable food, vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian, is provided to the students at the CFE student’s mess, which is managed entirely by the B,Tech students in collaboration with the mess officials.

 

 

Student Organizations

The students are a part of numerous organizations like The society for advancement in electrochemical technology (SAEST), Electrochemical Technologies association (ETA) and Kultural and Linguistic organization (KALA). These organizations play a beneficial role in updating students with recent cultural and technical trends, in addition to promoting the spirit of team work and responsibility.
