CSIR-CECRI Departmental Canteen (CDC), run on 'no-profit, no-loss' basis, caters to the basic need of the staff members of the institute in a healthy, hygienic and tasteful way.  CDC is equipped with modern facilities for cooking and has a staff strength of about 15 (2 cooks, 7 staff members and 6 supporting staff). CDC is managed by a Canteen Committee comprising of staff members of CSIR-CECRI.

CDC is equipped with both steam cooking and gas cooking facility using which food can be prepared for 300 and 200 people, respectively. Food is available during all 3 times (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) and our dining hall can accommodate up to 200 people at a time.  During festive seasons, sweets and snacks are also prepared for the benefit of staff members.
