General Administration

The Administration provides the administrative support for Scientific & Technical & Support staff of the Institute.  All  documents relating to Employee are maintained in the Personal File in the Administration.  There is also a Service Book which is the Record of Service of the Employee & contains all the details of his employment/career progression from his date of joining till his retirement from Service.  The entitlements of the employee regarding various kinds of Leave/Leave Travel Concession/Increment details are all maintained in Administration.  The pay bill  function & all advances for local Travel & International travel  are facilitated from Administration.  The entire Recruitment process for Scientific /Technical and Project Staff is handled in Administration.  In addition all outsourced  maintenance contracts are monitored  & logistic/support services like Transport/Telephones/Bill Payments/Despatch are done from Administration.  The paper work relating to all Civil/Electrical/Infrastructure work including payments are all routed through Administration.

Functions Handled:

  • Establishment - All  documents relating to Employee are maintained in the Personal File in Establishment Section.   There is also a Service Book which is the Record of Service of the Employee & contains all the details of his employment/career progression from his date of joining till his retirement from Service.  The entitlements of the employee regarding various kinds of Leave/Leave Travel Concession/Increment details are all maintained in Estt. Section.
  • Bills - The pay bill  function & all advances for local Travel & International travel are facilitated here.
  • Recruitment - The entire Recruitment process for Scientific /Technical and Project Staff is handled in Recruitment Section. 
  • General - All outsourced  maintenance contracts are monitored  & logistic/support services like Transport/Telephones/Bill Payments/Despatch are done in General Section. 
  • Works - Paper work relating to all Civil/Electrical/Infrastructure work including payments are all routed through Works.
