The Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), one among the chain

of 38 Research Laboratories under CSIR, New Delhi, was found in 1948 at

Karaikudi. CECRI, through Research & Development programmes, renders

great service to our Nation in various direct and applied fields of

electrochemical science and technology .CECRI is conducting the B.Tech

(Chemical and Electrochemical engineering) programme since 1988 under the

aegis of Center For Education(CFE) . KALA(Kultural And Literary Association) is

being organized by the B.Tech students . Kultural And Literary Association

(KALA) organizes an annual inter college cultural competition “Interface”.

KALA was started in the year 1994. Since then, it has organized colorful

cultural events every year wherein students are given opportunities to

showcase their talents. This year KALA organizes the Interface ‘10 on 6th and

7th 0f March at CECRI, Karaikudi. This clearly aims to promote and nurture

creativity, teamwork and other extra curricular skills among students.

Interface '10 conducts several events such as Quizzes, Just a Minute,

Choreography, Variety variety, Painting, etc. We heartily welcome you to the

GALA.
