ELECTRO-INORGANIC CHEMICALS DIVISION

Core objective:

          R&D investigation of electro-inorganic chemical and technological processes and processes and products connected with the same towards development of technologies useful for industrial production/removal of pollution for societal benefits.

Research interests:

a) Solid polymer electrolyte (SPE) electrolyser for hydrogen production.
b) SPE hydrogen-oxygen fuel cell.
c)
Technologies for the removal of arsenic, nitrate, fluoride and iron from drinking water and use of boron doped diamond  electrodes for water treatment.
d) Development of carbon cloth for fuel cell application, carbon microlites and nanoparticles.
e) Hydrochlorite and ozone generators
