Central Electrochemical Research Institute, the twelfth national laboratory from CSIR devoted for research in Electrochemical Science and Technology, is a singular laboratory through whole of the Asian continent. It is the only institute that offers an under graduate engineering course in electrochemical technology. The students are provided with the best standards of education through scientists who are proficient in their respective fields. Apart from the academic curriculum, the students are exposed to various research activities under the guidance of scientists .They are strongly encouraged to stay in touch with the industrial environments through various industrial visits, in-plant trainings and excursions arranged by the Centre For Education (CFE). The hostel, with its remarkable standards, facilitates the students to rejoice a good environment to pursue their search for knowledge. The students tagged with a B.Tech. in chemical and electrochemical engineering remain a boon to the electrochemical industrial sectors. They also get placed in various industries with brow-raising packages.
